Dharma Education System & Framework


Sagaramudra Buddhist Society established a system for Dharma education focusing on mastering the mind in daily practice and is suitable for the modern society. The education system comprises three levels - Fundamental Dharma Course, Progressive Dharma Course and Discussion Dharma Course. Each course is complemented with Chan meditation practices, social and community activities to achieve a wholesome education which can be applied to our daily living. 

  • Level 1 - A comprehensive overview of Buddhism and fundamental meditation.
  • Level 2 - In-depth understanding of the Dharma, Sutras and teachings from Chan Masters.
  • Level 3 - Similar to the Progressive Dharma course, through discussion and reporting approach to actualize the Present Moment practice.
