海印的宗旨是弘扬佛法；因此，我们尊称在海印服务的义工为“护法”。护法协助大众接触，认识佛法，走上佛道；间接帮助他们离苦得乐；所以护法功德很殊胜。护法若能诚心的奉献，以清净的心态处事和大众广结善缘；必能在服务的过程中修福增慧，在佛道中勇猛前进，终圆菩提。护法护人护己，自利利他；很有意义。
The Sagaramudra Buddhist Society is established with the objective of propagating the Dharma. These volunteers interact with the public while learning and practicing the Dharma and at the same time making an effort to help others. Hence, their actions are meritorious as they give with a true and pure heart for the wellbeing of others.
Founded in 1985, Sagaramudra aims to disseminate Dharma through systematic education and inner growth for societal betterment.
成立于1985年，海印学佛会的核心价值是佛法教育，核心业务是通过系统性整体佛法教育改善人心，净化社会，提升生活品质。
Established in 1985, the core value of Sagaramudra Buddhist Society is Buddhist Education. Its main focus is to improve the mind and purify society through systematic Buddhist education, ultimately enhancing the quality of life.
